I am a composer working in film & television for the past 15 years, writing music for internationally award-winning films, documentaries and commercials. Recent scores include: "Mrs. Robinson", a feature documentary on former Irish president and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mary Robinson (due to premiere summer 2024); "How To Tell A Secret”, a feature documentary on HIV experiences in Ireland, which is now available on Netflix (Nominated George Morrison Award IFTA 2023, Winner Best Documentary London Irish Film Festival); “When Women Won”, a feature documentary on the Together For Yes campaign to Repeal the 8th Amendment in Ireland (Winner Special Jury Prize at Boston Irish Film Festival, Winner Best Feature at the Sydney Women’s Film Festival). In the last few years I have also written and arranged music for campaigns and PSAs for Budweiser, Chadwicks, Keelings, Trinity College DublinPavee PointBelong To and Eir.

I am also a songwriter and music producer and have performed and recorded with various bands and artists over the years. I am a founding member of the alternative folk band, A Dark Horse, whose music has been praised at home and abroad, described by Seattle Weekly as “compelling, dense and dreamy” and as “One of the most accomplished and exciting debuts this year.” by Hot Press.

I am a First Class Honours graduate of the Music & Media Technologies masters degree in Trinity College, where I studied under composers Donnacha Dennehy and Linda Buckley. I am a founding member of the Screen Composers Guild of Ireland, where I served two terms as a board member.
